Project Definition
Rehabilitation Project and Implementation of Office Use in Bilbao – Capacity for 177 People
Description of the Intervention
The project addresses the challenge of transforming an old casino into an office space, adapting a building originally conceived for a completely different use to the current technical, functional and spatial requirements of a modern workplace. The intervention redefines the interior layout, placing the user at the centre of the design and prioritising natural light, flexibility and comfort.
Specific solutions were developed to overcome the existing construction limitations—such as the absence of raised technical flooring and irregular ceilings—by integrating installations and cabling through suspended “Z”-shaped luminaires that simultaneously serve as structural and compositional elements. The new space, conceived as a reflection of the company’s values of sustainability, innovation and collaboration, offers a versatile, bright office environment fully prepared for new ways of working, both in-person and hybrid.
